I like the sound not too muted and the bottom 3 strings are smooth and not too large. The high 3 strings are nice and have balanced sounds for both jazz and blues. Would buy all the times if the cost wasn’t too high.

Excellent strings, and worth the extra cost compared to other brands. They last forever!

I don’t know why these have been so hard to find. I took my 335 to 2 local places for a set up (one was Guitar Center), they said they never heard of them. I plan on buying a case and setting them aside until I need them.

Great feeling, focused sound, top quality. My only complaint is that they are too pricey here, but can be purchased from local sellers at 60-70% of this price, it just takes longer to get. $50+ on here, $30+ on one of the main musical chain stores in Canada.I will continue to use them on my semi-hollow just get a better deal.

Ultra smooth, almost to the point of being slippery, but certainly true quality. Perhaps the only sore point is that the silk on the bass E string is too far up the string to really be of any use when fitting.

These are the best guitar strings. Well worth the price. They last a long time, and generally I like them better with age. No issues with tuning, nice and reliable strings. I like this set more than the stiffer George Benson 12s

This was my first set of flatwounds ever. I was definitely nervous about hating them since they were so expensive. Wow. They are absolutely amazing. I put them on my SG special and combined with the tonerider alnico ii classic p90s, they sound incredible. Super warm clean, and just dirty enough with distortion. I hope they last long. Since I just put them on, I can't say anything about longevity, but when it comes to sound? I think I've been converted. At least for les paul and SG types. I'll leave the rounds on my more metal guitars. Beautiful sounds from these strings and a great feel.

Thomastik-Infeld Jazz 12's are the best flatwound string I've ever used. They are very smooth and articulate with a snappy response yet soft attack. Exceptionally well-defined midrange with beautiful balance between robust lows. Individual notes in chords ring clearly and picks glide across the strings with great ease, making difficult arpeggios and scalar runs much, much easier. String noise is nonexistent. Spend the extra on Thomastik-Infeld products: they turned my average (yet deceptively impressive) Epiphone Broadway import into a bonafide jazz machine.Note: don't purchase flatwounds expecting to perform dynamic bends, rock, metal, etc. They are clearly designed and voiced for jazz, swing, bebop, etc. These are exemplary.

I tried several strings on this semi-hollow body guitar looking for a good jazz tone. WOW, thick creamy lows and bell-clear highs with even balance throughout. I had been using D'Addario chromes. D'Addario has been my go to string for years but just couldn't get happy on the H-535. The sound is fantastic without any pedals, equalizers etc. and with the amp tone controls midrange on everything. Just noodling around my wife came in and said 'Wow, that sounds great. You're playing really well these days..' Yes, dear, I am :)H-535/Seth Lovers/Neck pickup set by factory but a bit lower than the usual 3/32". Do-it myself-setup with a little higher than normal bridge to let 'em ring. Been lowering bit by bit to see where it wants to be. Even with the higher action, they are easy to fret even at the higher registers.I don't know how long these will last - my body chemistry isn't nice to strings. But the sound is worth whatever it takes. Thanks to the reviewers who indicated the fragility of the bigger wrapped strings. I took care wrapping them but still noticed some separation of the wrap on the 6 string as I wound. The packaging implies that the silk wrapping is to cushion the string through the spindle hole but on the 24.5" scale 535, the silk didn't reach back to the tuning spindle. Still worked.I just bought a set of round-wound Jazz-bebop for an old Godin LGX. The chromes sound pretty good on that one but can't wait to try the JBs.

Posiblemente una de las mejores cuerdas que hay para guitarra de jazz.En mi opinión, mucho mejores que las típicas D'addario Chromes.Estás tienen una tensión mucho más uniforme y suenan más equilibradas.

Had these strings on for three months and they still sound great on my Epiphone emperor swingster. First set of flats I ever bought and are fantastic on hollow body's to the point I play it alot of the time unplugged. I had to check my account orders to see when I got them and it's been over 3 months. I clean them with Dunlop ultraglide 65 cleaner and conditioner and these things are in perfect condition. Tones still great and no issues whatsoever with tuning. Totally worth the 23 dollars, I just wonder when they'll show their age. Will never buy any other strings but these for my Epiphone. Used to try different brands and gauges to find a favorite every couple weeks. Finally found these babies and I am sold!! No better strings exist here or in the Galaxy. Gotta get past the price and try em. I was sceptical about them for awhile then finally got a set. WOW!!
