This is a VERY useful tool! I used to use the stock lock holder (for the UGREEN lock). And it was super annoying slipping cuz they’d use a rubber sheet (a grip) to increase friction between the lock and the bike. But, over time, that sheet kept slipping. This is sort of inevitable for a sheet. Then, the lock kept rotating and slipping while riding (annoying and potentially dangerous). This, however, prevents both slipping and rolling. Because it uses a clamp to exert force onto the lock. And the high-friction area that clamps onto the lock (the grip) is not a sheet. Rather, it’s fixed onto the inside of the lock holder. So, regardless of how long I use this lock holder, its effectiveness will never diminish! I hope this makes sense. I’m just trying to really illustrate how much I hated the stock lock mount for my UGREEN lock and how this new mount is totally worth it!

Cheap product, quality of the construction is not good. The Ulock twisted when in place when riding. The two clamps are not tightened together enough. The lock was moving around a lot while I was riding.Also, the clamps are painted not anodized and paint out of the package was flaking off!Olivier

Like:Works.When properly installed, not gonna drop off the bike frame.When properly used, not gonna drop the lock.No Like:Almost half a pound. Granted, most serious locks are heavy, so you many not care. It's pretty significantly overbuilt; the portion that grips the bike tube could easily lose half its mass.Ugly as a monkey's butt. (You've got the one red anodized aluminum part, but why even bother with that?)As noted, pricey! Nearly thirty bucks. Just doesn't feel like value.

just got my bike lock mount in. The entire bike lock mount is made of metal. It was quite easy to install onto my bike. It took me all of a few minutes to install it onto my bike frame. And my bike lock fix perfectly and is securely attached to my bike's frame now.

It is a good clamp, but the knob that tightens it protrudes a little and scrapes my sometimes. Also when I attached it to my bike, the foam on the inside fell off and scratched the paint.
