You know you need one in your kit if you’re in the business. It dosent come with an attachment to change over to LC and we are working more and more with LC panels these days. So I just threw in a short LC/SC single. Use it a lot at 60 Hudson, and if you work there you know there some long runs throughout the building. It hasent failed me yet. What they should do is add a pouch on the sides for 2Backup AA’s. Its sturdy, steady or pulsing beam both are bright.

I got this for my dad to use for his business, he says that it is very easy to use an operate. I noticed that it was very lightweight and it came in a nice box so I got it as a gift. It comes with instructions as well to learn what all the codes are for the faults that can be wrong with Wire. My dad liked it so much he may get one for his employees as well. Definitely go with this one over other generic ones that may be cheaper because this one is actually well-made, the other ones easily break and are not as trustworthy, also do not have as many features as this one.

I work in an area where I have to place light on a fiber that’s nearly 3 miles from where I need to find it. I have been using a lesser distance vfl, and in some cases I can barely see a glimmer of red in my fiber connector. I used this new 80k light yesterday for the first time. The second I opened the cabinet door, I saw this glorious bright red light in my port at the bottom row of ports. I was in a full standing position. There was certainly no need to get on my knees and look directly into the port I was searching for. It was an overcast day, and I’m looking forward to seeing how well it works on a sunny day.I can honestly say that this vfl is incredible. I am recommending this to all of my coworkers.

The screw on is alittle loose and you have to screw the battery spot abit every once and while besides that it works well

As long as the batteries are fresh, the light is amazing! Have no issue on finding my connection ports even with the solid caps. Money well spent! Highly recommend this product.
