The water detectors work but are a hassle to change a dying battery since they can’t be silenced. The hub worked for a while but now false alarms periodically with no water detected. Instruction book was a couple pages and needs to have more info!!! Would return if I could. DO NOT PURCHASE!!

WiFi hub was very easy to setup in the SmartLife app and adding sensors was equally easy. Alarm is very loud and notification of a water leak to phone via Smartlife app is very quick. So far I am happy with this purchase.

App lets you label each sensor , Mine are Sink, W/D, Refrig, M bath, G bath. The base unit Alarm comes set on DevCon5 (notify the neighborhood LOUD). It can be adjusted with the app. Each sensor has it's own alarm, and the App has a notification. Tried all of them and the work great.

Set was very easy and I like the nice tag stickers it comes with so you can name your sensors and it comes with the little screwdriver and each sensor came with batteries you just loosen one screw on top to pull out the battery guard so you don’t have to open the back and put batteries in yourself, these little thoughtful details are nice, something that makes me think this company will take care of their customers. It’s like a mom’s touch. :) So nice!!! The alarm is very loud and with the WiFi alert while we are out we feel safe. We have trips that are 30 days long so it’s nice to know we can alert friends to go check if there’s a leak. I recommend this for rentals as renters don’t care and this could help with slow leaks if you have tenants. We had one before that caused the whole bathroom floor to rot over time… like why would you not notice??? But it happens.

I should have set these up a long time ago. I’ve kept postponing it like many others.This is like any insurance policy. Install one of these $10 sensors under your sinks could save you THOUSANDS of dollars and hassle having to arrange for the repairs from water damage.They pay for themselves that way.They not only make an audible noise impossible to be ignored but also notify you via app if you’re outside the house.Setup was easy. Instructions unclear but manageable.(1) Remove the tabs from each sensor(2) Test each sensor in some water to ensure they are not defective(3) Scan the QR code in manual to download the application(4) Once in the application, make an account(5) Plug in the wifi gateway where you want and then it on(6) Add, input your wifi info and it should add the gateway(7) Go to accessory tab(8) For reach sensor - Click Add (gateway will beep), then press the button on the side of the sensor (it will beep again), and name it where you plan to place it. Do this for each sensorYou can set it to Disarmed, Home, and AwayThe app will push notifications to your phone for any leaks and you can also set up texts.

My home is over 5,500 sq ft spread over a finished basement, main floor, and upper level. I have 19 sensors protecting every area in my home that has a water connection (including one below the basement in the crawl space). I operate all 19 sensors with 1 hub centrally located on the main floor. There is no problem with the coverage area, even though I have to use multiple pods for my Xfinity internet coverage. The sensors have been installed for 1 year now, and have picked up 1 overflowing toilet, 1 under-sink leak, and a failed sump pump. I couldn't be happier with the product performance and value. The Smart Life app gives me great peace of mind when I travel as well.

UPDATE: AUGUST 22, 2024Every time the internet goes down, I have to re-pair 8 of these leak detectors. This has happened twice. The leak detectors are all over the house, including the attic. Although the rooms I set up are still in the app, the leak detectors do not reconnect when internet service is back. A Very disappointed. What's the point and the protection value if I have to start from scratch every time I loose internet service and re-pair every detector? None.----------------------------------------------This leak detection system is fantastic. I placed sensors in all the usual leak-risk locations.PROS:Got a discount on my homeowners insurance for having a leak detection system.The Hub siren is super loud. -- I would hear it no matter where it was placed in the house.You can assign each sensor to a specific room so you quickly find the leak.Low battery alert.Nicely packed with each component in its own protective cover.CONS:A bit tricky to set up the app. and link the sensors because the directions are not very good.Requires a subscription to get text alerts on your phone (although it is not expensive).This is a five-star product. I highly recommend!

I sometimes get water through the stairwell of my basement and wanted an early warning device to alert me. This worked perfectly. The only difficulty is making sure you read the instructions correctly for set up of the device. You have to download an app and set up each monitor and label where you place it. Once you put them in place you get an loud alarm alert on the monitoring device when water hits the sensor. You can also subscribe to a monthly monitoring for a low fee that will text alert you when the sensor goes off while you are away. It has already alerted and saved me from flooding due to overflow. It comes with 5 monitors, that's more than enough to protect my laundry room and basement.
