This handle is not perfect for the kind of trimmer I have. I had to put it low on the shaft because of the design. But I was surprised that even with that issue it does feel much better than using the handle that comes with the trimmer. The center of gravity makes it much easier and comfortable to control. Weed eating really takes a toll on my back so this feels much better. I did have to use the Allen wrench that came with it to loosen and reposition the handle when I rotate the trimmer to the edging position. This is a pain so -1 star. I’m sure it would work better with a different trimmer. It was easy to install.

String trimmers are not as lightweight as they used to be - or I'm getting older and just can't take using them like I used to.Probably the latter...All jokes aside, this handle is a definite improvement! I've attached it to my string trimmer and have really benefitted from the better control and improved posture that the device affords me. This handle attaches easily to a string trimmer's shaft (or even a shovel handle) with the Allen-head bolts that are part of the mount. A wrench is included, so there's no hunting for tools in the toolbox - this is truly a 'plug-and-play' solution. The angle and length of this handle add about 13 inches between my usual handgrip position (I'm right handed - this handle is used by my left hand) so I'm not slumped over and straining my back & shoulder(s) when I'm doing my yard work. After using this device for two consecutive days of work, I can honestly answer that this device improves my comfort and control when my string trimmer. I would say the improvement is close to 100%...my back & shoulders would ache for hours after doing yardwork (I have a 4+ acre yard) and after attaching this handle, I was able to work 2 afternoons without getting beat up by my machine. The handle itself adds only 21 ounces (yes, I weighed it!) and has a nice soft grip that wouldn't blister one's hands if used barehanded for several hours.Yes indeed - I should have gotten one of these years ago. The manufacturers of tools should take a hint from this simple U-shaped tubing design and add it to their manufacturing process. Work doesn't have to be a bad four letter word! I haven't tried this handle on a pitchfork or shovel yet, but it's very clear to see how such tools could be greatly improved by the addition of this handle.Note: This handle is especially helpful if you use a brush cutting blade on your string trimmer shaft! It gets you further away from the 'debris zone' and gave me WAY BETTER control. For safety, ease of use and reduction of fatigue, get one of these handles on your device. Highly recommended for all aforementioned uses!

My back thanks you. :) It's silly how such a simple thing can have such a big impact.

As someone who spends a fair amount of time maintaining my yard, I can’t stress enough how much this trimmer handle extension has improved my experience. Gardening and trimming can be tough on the back, especially after long hours of working. This handle extension has been a game changer for me. The ergonomic design is incredibly well thought out. The 15-degree angled handle follows the natural movement of my arms, and it’s made a noticeable difference in reducing back strain and hand fatigue. What stands out to me is how comfortable it is to use. The diamond-textured rubber grip feels great in hand, and it does a fantastic job of reducing hand fatigue, even after an extended period of trimming. I’ve also noticed that it helps me maintain a better posture, making mowing more efficient and comfortable. The construction of this handle is top-notch. It’s lightweight yet durable, thanks to the aluminum alloy and stainless steel. I’ve used it on both my gas-powered and electric trimmers without any issues, and the clamp adjustment for the shaft diameter makes installation quick and easy. No drilling or modifications required—just a quick setup with the included Allen wrench, and I’m ready to go.If you’re someone who takes care of your own yard or a professional landscaper, this extension is a must-have. It improves both the comfort and efficiency of mowing and trimming, making it much easier to handle the job. Plus, the durability ensures it’ll be with you for the long haul.

I'd buy this from a retail store and be content with it, its a decently heavy handle for your weed wacker or whatever else you want to strap it to.The handle itself is a metal tube bent into shape, I appreciate that since theres no welds to break on me. The plastic mount is thick and the plastic feels like its decent quality, it should bolt right onto whatever weedwacker you have, or any other shaft that you might need a handle for. I would probably spend more if I had a landscaping business or something, but for home owner use this thing should outlast the weedwacker its attached to.

What a great idea...works great! My back always got tired from weed whacking because of the weight distribution of the whacker being toward the front. This caused me to have to bend over a bit and the result was a strained back. This little gizmo attaches to the shaft of the whacker wherever you might want and allow you to us two hands to evenly distribute the weight and control the whacker at the same time. Would great! Well made of steel and with a plastic attachment. Should last a long time. Wish I had the much sooner, but now I do. A must in my book for anyone who uses a weed whacker.
