Very low quality, missing piece to connect the “foot catch”, wobbly, smells like spray paint, and one of the stands was bent so i had to hit it with a hammer to straighten it.

I waited to use this bench before writing a review.Pros-It shipped fast and came well packaged. Nothing damaged in shipping.Very easy to put together, it was mostly assembled right out of the box. Had to install the pads and feet, 12 bolts total. Took @ 20 minutes.Very comfortable to use. The padding is not thick, but is very solid. Does not compress, gives a good stable feel. The bench itself is stable, no wobble to it. Has a small footprint and is light, makes it easy to move around in my small home gym. The seat and backrest positions are verycomfortable.The height of this bench is very comfortable to me. Most benches with these adjustments are taller, making it hard for shorter people to plant their feet properly. This bench has all of the adjustments but it still close to the ground.Cons-While the build quality is good, I don't know if it will hold 1200 pounds. That's only an opinion, not based on anything scientific. I've had close to 500 pounds (myself and the weights) on it and it felt very stable. I can't really knock it because I'll never take it near 1200 pounds, but I think their rating is a bit too generous.The one real con I've found is the arm for adjusting the angle of the backrest. So far, every time you change the angle, the arm has to be pulled into position for the pin to engage. When you lay back on it and put it under a load. The arm will torque enough that it won't line up with the pin when the angle is changed again. It's not a deal breaker, but more of an inconvenience.Overall, I would recommend this, especially at the price point. Keeping in mind, make sure the pin for the back is securely engaged.

Great bench for flat and incline positions.Assembly:This was very easy other than one particular part where you need to align a hole in the base with a hole in the long bench support and a hole in the short bench support all at the same time. However, I'm fairly certain I still put the whole thing together in an hour or so alone. Than includes removing parts from the box and then looking at the parts laid out with some sense of hesitancy to begin for a few minutes. After I got started, it came together pretty quickly. I used the tools in the box, but you can go quicker if you have your own wrench set. I just didn't want to go out to the car to retrieve mine.Padding:The material covering the padding seems to be of good quality. Not too thin. The pads feel firm and durable. They are supple enough to be comfortable, but they do not have so much give that they will wear thin quickly. The length is great also.Sturdiness:This is a very important point. I've used another "home" bench before, and it was so wobbly that I was worried about using weight that I could easily manage on a "gym" bench. This one has a wide stance for the front and rear portions of the main support, so there is no wobble at all.

I purchased this incline bench for all its features which created a better bang for my buck. Particular I wanted an incline bench to assist me keep better form with my military press with dumbbells. The bench arrived on time and installed quickly with excellent instructions. Have used the bench twice now and have enjoyed my workouts with it so far. It is more stable than my previous bench and has better cushion as well! Thanks Uniaxis!
