Perfect fit. Is there a metal canister?? The glass is thin and costly to need to buy if bumped.

The product is great. The problem is that it does not fix my Hamilton beach coffee maker. I should have indicated the size of the coffee pot but unfortunately, I did not. The original coffee pot measures approximately 6 inches from bottom to top, while the new coffee pot which was sent measures approximately 7 inches. So unfortunately, the new pot does not fit into my coffee maker.

Bought product according to item # on coffee maker. Hamilton brand. Advertised that it was compatible, but was too large. But great product and packaging
