It works great especially for lifting bosun chair and main sail. Use a heavy duty drill, cordless or otherwise. Hold tight to the drill.

I can’t believe I never found this earlier. No more killing myself getting the sails up. I can get the sails up in a couple of minutes now. Just make sure you have a drill that has a good torque setting. My drill has both torque and speed settings, which definitely help.
