This is the only way I’ve been able to take pictures through my telescope so it’s pretty cool. Materials seem kinda cheap but it does what it’s supposed to do.

This adapter is slick! The all-aluminium feels rugged, and it clamps my phone to the rifle scope securely. I've gotten some awesome shots whilst hunting; super clear and steady. Takes a minute to set up, but once it's on, it's rock solid.

For the money and my use its fine. I wanted something to help my boys learn to shoot and it allows me to see what they see so i can explain things better. But the mount is cumbersome and not super secure. For a larger caliber rifle I wouldn’t mess with it but for my purposes it was fine if not clumsy initially.

It works, takes some finagling to get it set up. One problem I noticed was if you have a fast Focus eye piece that sits higher than the eye objective it will rotate with the weight of the phone. So this would be ideal on a scope with a fast Focus eye piece that is flush with the main scope

Ok. So, 2 lessons learned.1. Compare the narrative to the photo.2. Compare the photo to the narrative. There is a difference.I never saw in the narrative that this device requires a scope of some sort. Like a rifle scope. If the narrative refers to the use of a scope, then the photo is accurate. But a scope does not come with it.Seems pretty sturdy but I can not attest to fit, functionality or value. It's beefy to be certain and bulky off the cell phone. Other than that, sorry, I can not be more helpful.

The dual viewing smartphone mount allows me to easily capture wildlife, stars, and nature scenes with great clarity and precision. The sturdy construction of the adapter ensures that my phone stays securely in place, even during windy conditions. I have used it for stargazing sessions and bird-watching trips, and the results have been outstanding. The adapter is easy to attach to my scope and adjust to fit my phone, making it a versatile tool for all my outdoor adventures. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to enhance their wildlife observation, stargazing, or nature photography experiences.

The Starboosa adapter uses a beamsplitter to split the scopes image from your eye to a phone, allowing you to record while you use your scope. That is rather unique, though there are competing products. They are generally 6x the cost or more, and some use GoPros, some use your phone, others have cameras built into them. The Starboosa is a great accessible unit as it is low cost, but not cheaply built. The frame is all aluminum and the phone holder is rugged injection molded plastic. The kit comes with multiple nylon shims to fit various diameters of scopes. Here's the weird thing though: I bought the pro and the standard version and they are the exact same kit. So I have no idea what the difference is. Just buy the standard version to save yourself the money. And a pro-tip to anyone using this: install it when you are setup and ready. I wouldn't want my smartphone getting caught on some brush and falling off somewhere in the woods! :)

This Rifle Scope Camera Adapter isn't the most expensive thing I have bought but the idea behind it is good however it's extremely difficult to set up i would definitely recommend that they look at doing a more clear review on the instructions that are provided with this as I found it very difficult to set up and operate the build quality is good just wish I had a better understanding on how to use it correctly

But I'm glad I rolled the dice and picked it up. So, you connect the viewfinder to the back of your scope. Generally speaking, you have to use a decent scope with good eye relief otherwise your eye will be too close for comfort (literally). They you mount your phone's camera on the side and it can record/display exactly what you're seeing. I used this on a 22 (I don't know if I'd use it on a super high power cartridge just because I don't really want to risk dropping my phone) and it helped me actually record a couple instances where I thought I was not flinching but I was. It also was super helpful on a BB gun for me to give some instructions to my son (who is learning) and help him aim. For those uses, I think it's a great product. I'm not sure it's best use case is taking it on a complex hunt and trying to record footage of that.

**First Impressions and Review of the Rifle Scope Mount Camera Adapter**I recently received the **Rifle Scope Mount Camera Adapter** through the Vine program, and after using it a few times, I can confidently say it’s an impressive and game-changing accessory for outdoor enthusiasts like me. Here are my thoughts after putting it through its paces.### Build Quality and DesignThe first thing that struck me was the **premium feel** of this mount. Unlike some of the cheap, flimsy plastic options you find on the market, this adapter is constructed entirely from **high-quality aluminum**. It’s sturdy, durable, and feels solid in hand, which is exactly what I want in an accessory that needs to hold my smartphone steady in sometimes challenging conditions. From the moment I unpacked it, I appreciated the level of craftsmanship—it’s clear this isn’t one of those mass-produced, generic mounts that falls apart after a few uses. The all-metal construction eliminates the worries of it **loosening or breaking over time**, which has been a frustration with my previous mounts. This quality alone gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m using expensive optics or smartphones.### Ease of Setup and UseOne standout feature of this adapter is its **screw-free locking system**. I absolutely love how quick and easy it is to attach and secure. Mounting and dismounting my smartphone is hassle-free, and the locking system keeps everything snug and steady without the need for over-tightening. This is a huge improvement over some mounts that require multiple adjustments or fidgeting with small screws and knobs. The adapter’s dual viewing angles are another highlight. Whether I’m trying to take a photograph or record video, the flexibility to choose a viewing angle ensures I capture exactly what I want. It’s especially useful when switching between activities like birding, hunting, or target practice at the range.### Performance in the FieldI’ve been using this scope mount along with my two main tools: my spotting scope and my video camera. So far, it’s performed flawlessly in both setups. At the shooting range, I was able to easily mount my phone and record crystal-clear footage without any stability issues. The mount stayed **perfectly secure**, and I didn’t have to worry about any unwanted movement or vibrations affecting the quality of my shots.Outside the range, I’ve also used it to record deer in the distance during a recent outing. Again, the performance was superb. Setting up the mount was fast and simple, and the stability of the adapter gave me beautiful, steady footage of the wildlife. The clarity I was able to achieve through my spotting scope with this mount attached really made my phone camera shine.### My Overall ThoughtsSwitching to this **high-quality mount** has been a noticeable upgrade in every way. From the secure, reliable construction to the ease of use, it’s clear that this adapter was designed with serious users in mind. Whether you’re a hunter, birdwatcher, or shooting enthusiast, this product delivers exactly what you need: **confidence** that your smartphone will stay securely mounted and stable, no matter what you’re doing. The difference in quality compared to other mounts is night and day. I no longer worry about the adapter loosening unexpectedly or struggling with plastic parts that feel cheap and unreliable. The aluminum design feels premium, and the quick setup time only adds to its efficiency.### Final VerdictThis is an excellent investment for anyone who frequently uses their smartphone with optics. It’s built to last, easy to use, and delivers great results. If you’re tired of dealing with subpar mounts, the **Rifle Scope Mount Camera Adapter** is absolutely worth considering. After using it for both range shooting and outdoor adventures, I can’t imagine going back to the lower-quality alternatives I’ve used in the past.
