I have been searching for many years, without success, for a really good quality set of small files. I make my own guitar nuts and bridges and I have bought several sets over the years from a range of "High Street" brands but they are generally of poor quality with a poor cut and often loose that cut after several sessions with a bit of metal! And I have bought small files individually but here again quality and longevity let me down. But I do believe my search may be over. These Japanese made files from Engineer Inc honestly are the best set of small files I have ever purchased and owned. Out of the little yellow plastic sleeve, I was just so impressed with the finish and cut on these, I just had to grab a few of pieces of material to try them out. And I am a happy man!. The cutting ability is as one should expect form a quality Japanese made product. Tore into soft steel, camel bone, buffalo horn, antler and wood with ease and removed material proper quick and there does not appear to be any noticeable impact to the cutting surface. Wonderful wee files that are a pleasure to use (see pics below). So, my search is over. I have found a set of small files that actually cut properly. I'm really over the moon. They might seem a bit pricy for some but you do get what you pay for with hand tools. And lastly, if you found this honest review helpful then please tick the YES box below. Thanks. [UPDATE October 2016: - still going strong and still holding their cutting edge. Top notch set of needle files. Still rate and recommend.]
