My older (15 year old) self lighting torch head quit self lighting making me have to manually light it when using, then it quit putting out a good solid flame. No spider webs or other types of blockage were found.This new torch head certainly does things right—-fast lighting, strong adjustable flame, etc. with luck, it will be the last torch I will have to buy. YAY!

This propane torch works great. We replaced a torch head with only a gas valve on it and this is much more useful. I love not having to light the torch with a separate flame as this has the ignitor built in. Another nice feature is the locking feature that lets you set a flame and keep it burning. The build quality is nice and heavy duty. My only complaint is the threads to install this on a propane tank. I had a bit of trouble getting the torch to seat properly on the propane tank threads and had to push very hard to get the threads to finally bite. But once it was on, no issues.
