The system works great! As some others have said, the App isn’t the most user friendly, but it has quite a few scheduling options and doesn’t seem to have any bugs (I haven’t encountered any).

Have had a metered drip irrigation system for years, but wanted more control (vs. just timers). Unit was easy to set up and once you get used to the app (not a big deal) it is easy to customize and control via the app. Not a big deal, but if in the future this could work with smartthings or similar, that would be a fantastic add.Very happy with this unit, saves us a lot of money on water (reports flow and can calculate costs if you specify cost/gallon) and reliably waters sensitive plants that don't tolerate skipping watering in the head/sun. Very much worth the money.

I installed a three zone drip irrigation system around my 1880 house and gardens by myself. This WiFi connected battery powered controller has been flawless! Although it’s only been running for about three weeks, I was able to travel across the country to see my new grandchild and control my irrigation from afar. The app is straightforward and easy to use. I’m very grateful that the reviews and YouTube videos I studied recommended this product. It’s an investment up front but worth every penny considering the labor and costs of all the plants I have put in the last couple of years. The summers in Arkansas have gotten hotter and drier since my childhood and I’m thrilled to have the peace of mind this system affords me.

I’m, a plumber and bought two other units similar to this that did not work.I installed the unit in underground box with 4 regular sprinkler zones. This unit is better that and standard sprinkler control, never mind Bluetooth or just WiFi.Well made great customer supports. The standard 9 volt battery’s seem to last long with this unit. And most of all was the simple setup and app development . Zero leaking

Been using LinkTap products for a few years now (since 2019) and this unit makes setting up after winter much easier. Originally, I had a system where I used 10 single port LinkTaps to water my lawn. I set up 5 zones in the front yard and 5 zones in the back yard. As one can imagine, this made winterizing the system very time consuming. Additionally, the 10 LinkTaps required 40 AA batteries, two 4 way hose splitters, and 2 2 way hose splitters. Now I have two of the Q1s and 2 single port LinkTaps which only require 8 AA and 4 9v batteries and 2 2 way splitters. This setup significantly reduces chances for a leak in the system and the number of batteries I will have to purchase in the future. These Q1s seem to built with the same high quality that the earlier G1 and G2 models I have been using and I really like the instant on/off manual button on the control unit.

While the app isn't polished like most, and the interface can be a bit tricky to navigate through - once you spend some time and learn it, it's the fullest featured application I've seen for automated watering ANYWHERE. The products themselves seem solid, and very well built - and the applications JUST WORK! Biggest benefits -- Individual flow / zone usage monitoring w/o having to purchase individual sending flow-sensor units, which are often expensive. The wireless is solid and connects easily and configuration / linking was also very straightforward. NOTHING but praise (well, aside from what appears to be a somewhat antiquated UX in the app -- easily forgiven - given the rich features that come out of the box. I can now very easily see water use/flow rates by zone on a nice easy to read report - including costs... automatic rain skip (configurable by prediction amount, and other factors) -- all the things you'd expect. Only two things would make this better. 1 - connection / support for Apple Homekit (yep, I eat the apple sauce). 2 - a more modern ux for the app. Neither are really an issue for me though. Can't recommend these products enough.

After struggling for years with multi-zone Smart Timers for my large Drip System, I stumbled across LinkTap this season and pulled the trigger on the 4-zone version. I was impressed with what I got. Tickled with finally finding what I've been looking for. This has every feature I needed and several more I didn't know I wanted until I saw them. This is Quality Tech. The rest are "toys" by comparison. I bought the 4-year warranty but suspect it's one I'll never have to use (the Best kind of warranty). Within days, I purchased a single zone and then another 4-zone. I intend to make a complete conversion to LinkTap. The Aussies have done it again.

Auch die Funktion, den Wasserverbrauch zu überwachen, ist ein großer Pluspunkt.Dank des LinkTap Q1 habe ich nicht nur mehr Freizeit, sondern auch die Sicherheit, dass mein Garten immer optimal versorgt ist – selbst wenn ich im Urlaub bin.
