I am using two of these in home assistant via zigbee2mqtt and they are working fine. Pairing was easy and they were discovered right away. They are quick to respond. Can't report on battery life yet since I haven't had them long enough, but I will try to report back after a couple of months.

These pair up just fine with my Abode hub using the web application. If they are not triggered every day or so, they will go offline. If they are triggered when offline, they reconnect. Similar issues with their water sensors. My suspicion is that they power down communications when idle to conserve the battery.

We wanted a way to check to see if the mail had been delivered -- this was an easy and quick solution to see if the mailman had opened the box. Small, compact, and easy to setup, if you've done other pairing, you can do this. Works with Alexa, too.

The video with the instructions never specified the you need to buy another piece so the sensor works. I installed and that's when I realized that I was fooled with this product.

Came with 100% battery and 3M stickers. The size is pretty compact.Connected without installing an app or a hub.Hold the reset button for several seconds to enter a pairing mode. Detected and configured immediately by Zigbee2mqtt through SkyConnect adapter.Has 4 sensors- 2 battery sensors- open/close sensor- tamper sensor ( triggers if you pull it off the surface).Installed diagonally since the door frame wasn't evenly aligned with the door. The distance between sensors is close to an inch, works fine.

I was happy to try this product out to add a sensor to our garage back door, given that I already have a Zigbee setup that I use (Z2M and HA, with a Sonoff USB as coordinator). It is not clearly stated in the product description, but it looks like this product is basically a rebranded Tuya TS0203, which is known to be supported by Z2M.The product immediately paired with the existing Zigbee network well. To get the first state information, I did have to open and close the door to simulate a change in the open/closed state; from that point onwards, the device has been functioning as expected. The biggest limitation with this product is that the two pieces have to be within 10 mm (according to the instructions; which is less than half an inch), so I would make sure that you have a mounting surface that can adhere to this requirement. I did read elsewhere that the Tuya product specification is 15 mm, so I am not sure if this brand is just being a bit more conservative; my setup is almost exactly at 10 mm, and I haven't had issues so far, so I am guessing it is probably between those two numbers. From a price value perspective, I don't think you will be able to find a better deal given the currently available 50% off coupon, which puts the price at $8. At the original price of $16, I think you can find similar Zigbee products for cheaper (probably even this very exact Tuya model).Overall, I would recommend this product, especially at the current discounted price!
