Installation Instruction: 1. Put the filter cartridge in water and soak for 10-15 minutes. 2. Rinse the filter cartridge under running tap water for 60 seconds. 3. Place the filter cartridge into the holder. 4. Install the holder into your coffee machine.

This review is for a Premium 12-pack Replacement Water Filter for Breville Expresso Machine. I have a Barista machine that gets used on a daily basis, so it goes to say that we drink a lot of coffee. I have always used filtered water for everything that I do even the shower has a filter so that goes to say that its important to me. Why so important you ask? I’ll try not to get on my soap box and will pick one chemical, Chlorine… Back in the day I tested my water from the faucet to find out it had high levels of chlorine. What’s even worse is if I was pool water you would have had to wait before you went in the pool it was so high and we were drinking it. Since then, only filtered water!These filters are a food-grade Charcoal Water Filter with 0.5-micron small pore size ensures the charcoal provides highly efficient filtration and stays in the filter. Here’s the important part; the filters absorb chlorine, sediment, rust, particles, from the water. What does that mean well that means that the coffee you’re drinking will come out free of garbage and most definitely better tasting. Here’s the kicker these filters are half the price. This 6 pack of water filters for Breville is almost as good as the OEM. They don't come as nicely packaged as the original Breville filters, but they are a much better deal. The micromesh layer on these filters is not as thick as the OEM ones, but I'm not sure how much of a difference this would actually make. These filters fit my Breville and are a much better deal than the OEM- that's a win in my book.
