I would just like to say that the customer service is outstanding! I had some issues come up after installing the gate opened and emailed them and they were quick not even 24 hrs to reply to me and guide me, went into detail of what i had to do and it turns out it was just something small i had done incorrectly. love that the communication is there and they are willing to help fix whatever issue comes up!

Comes with absolutely everything you need outside of the gate, you will have to get that on your own lol.It can handle a gate over 5000lbs just fine since that is roughly the weight of mine and it handles it daily without issue. The company offers different accessories based on your needs as well which is a nice touch.With the price being as low as it was I wasn’t expecting a complete package and being off the grid I didn’t know if I would be able to install myself, but fortunately I got everything I needed with the purchase and install took a few hours by myself but was simple enough.This is a great choice and I have it running off of my battery bank since I am full solar with no issues.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

I know for years that Topens was a good brand for gate operators, even though the prices are lower than that of many competing companies. Years back, we added one of their solar sliding gate operators to a private road on our land, since we didn't have AC power as an option in the location needed. Granted we do have electric running to our well water pumps, our barn, and some other structures. But not every area of our land. So we set up something of a light-duty sliding gate opener that runs off of two 12 volt batteries plus the solar panel. Worked well with two MightyMax 12V that we had previously used for riding mowers, worked like a charm.With this gate opener, we're using it in an area that actually has accessible electric. If you have any real experience setting up a swing or slide gate operator before, it should be easy enough for you to install this one. No trouble installing ours, it was myself and two others handling the installation to make sure it went by quickly and smoothly. It can handle about the length of fence as the solar one, but with about twice as much power. So it can accommodate a gate that's just shy of 6,000 pounds. Should be more than sufficient for most home and business owners.I've also always liked that you can get a number of good accessories from the brand to really get the most out of this gate opener. So this gate opener seems to handle the load just fine, and works as well (I'd say better) than the solar model they put out years ago. Worth giving it a shot, if you're in the market for a sliding gate operator at the moment.

I just had my old sliding gate opener replaced with this new one. This is the full package, everything you will need. It came with over 13 feet of gear rack too. The installation wasn't too bad either, I had someone helping me, but we had it done in no time. The machine has a 1.25 HP motor that has no problem sliding my 2800 pound gate. This opener is rated to move a 5700 pound gate, so mine is easy for it. The 2 remotes work perfectly. I'm not sure of the remote range as I just use it when I am at the gate. The opener itself has a smaller footprint, just 11"x6" and just over 11" tall. This opener works great, looks great and easier to install, so I would recommend it.
