Quality and performance is straight forward. Crimps as it should with no issues and super easy to use. At a value price it does what it needs to do. Doesn’t look or feel cheap on hand.

This tool is solid, sturdy, and heavy duty, but I hoped that the largest cavity would accept even the smallest common wire rope loop sleeves. It does not.However, for twelve bucks, I'll keep it and find other uses for it.

Works well for me. I was a little worried after reading the 1 star reviews, but it seems like a solid tool to me. I've only cut about twenty cuts on 3/32" cable, but they still are making clean cuts.

This is described as a frequently returned item, for a good reason - the website description is misleading and implies that the 2.2 mm cavity is suitable for 3/32" wire rope ferrules - it says wire rope but the cavities are not for wire rope - they are for ferrules associate with wire rope. It would be better if they listed the size of ferrules the cavities can accommodate. Gave it a three star as, the tool itself looks good for small ferrules, but website description is misleading.

For the price point, I expected this to be cheap, but I'm pleasantly surprised that it's actually really heavy duty and seems quite sturdy. I'm using it for 1mm steel rope, and it actually feels like overkill for such small wire. I find myself wishing they were smaller and lighter, like jewelry tools, because these things can't be used with any finesse. They are unwieldy in my small hands!I've used both the crimping and the cutting functions on this tool several times now, and both work quite well. The cutting tool is very directional, so keep that in mind while cutting lest you cut too long or too short and not precisely where you mean to. It probably isn't that important unless you're doing detailed work like I am, but I'm using the wire for jewelry and accessories, and precise measurements are important. This works perfectly as long as I'm aware of exactly where the cut will happen!
