Product is as expected. However, the tray that I received was used, partially open, and missing over 100 screws. I'd return it but it's not worth the drive to the UPS store and back. Bad job, Amazon.

These are great! They truly are self-tapping. They are very hard and sharp. Screwing into a 2x4 wasn’t very hard with just a screwdriver, but they go really fast with a drill. Be careful or they may go in deeper than you may have wanted. Granted, I’m no handyman.I wanted a set of wood screws of different sizes and these fit the bill perfectly, although I’m not quite sure what I’ll use the smallest for, but if I do, I’ll be prepared.

You get a lot of screws in this ‘TBUKEOM Wood Screws Assortment Kit.’ On the plus side, the slots in the head (Phillips) are deep, so they don’t strip easily as other economy screws do. The coating is evenly applied, and the #6 screws are the lengths stated. They are pointed, and whether they will self-tap will be very dependent on what you are using them for. Drywall, okay. Pine, probably. Harder wood, no, but I’d be using a starter drill/pilot hole anyway. The product description says it comes with a counter sink kit, it does not. IT does come with a Phillips bit for a drill.I tried a few as a test. They are fine for basic use, and a better value than big box store assortments.

"Drywall screws are my ""jack of all trades"" wood screws. As long as I have the right length they will probably work just fine around the house. With pine, cedar, wall board and the like they work well and you can drive them without drilling a pilot hole if you need to. Hardwoods like red oak can snap the heads off if you are not extra careful. I usually use different screws for that work. You can get a box of 11 different sizes for the same price or less than a box of one size at your local home store. I am a fan of assortments"

Nice selection, the black coating is great. The shafts seem a little thinner than typical drywall screws but are good for light-duty connections or repair.

The points and threads are sharp and they seem to take torque well, albeit I usually drill a guide hole just to be safe. What's kind of weird is these are not self-tapping screws as advertised, just regular drywall screws, and what's even weirder is the longer screws are fine thread, and the shorter ones are coarse thread, you can see it in the ad photo if you look hard enough. I didn't have the problems with the box and/or the screws being mixed the other reviewers had. The quantity of each size is small, something you can throw into a toolbox to have on hand for minor fix-it jobs. The price is OK for the quantity and quality, but these aren't much to write home about.
