Well built and durable. The only con would be a longer rope. We use it on tin barn roof steep pitch. Have to use winch on truck to make the distance meet.

I’m just an average Joe who bought this set after I received several quotes to get Christmas lights put up on my 2 story house. The cost for a simple install was 5-6 times more than what this set cost so my pride got the best of me and ended up doing them myself.I ended up installing a permanent anchor at the peak of my roof so I could create an easy system for me to put up my lights year after year. Highly recommend this product as the rope and harness are extremely sturdy.I’m 200 lbs and 6’1 and everything worked out perfectly.Highly recommend this product if you are doing anything on the roof. Felt secured and didn’t worry about it I fell off the roof as I’d be secured by the rope. I can see people using this when installing roofs, doing Christmas lights, or even cleaning gutters.Another way I used my harness was to anchor myself when on a ladder. I ended up purchasing another 75ft rope (similar to the one that came with this set) to be able to throw the extra safety rope where I was using my ladder. There were spots I couldn’t get to while on the roof so figured this was the safest way.While being hooked by one rope on my harness, I was able to secure the 2nd rope and lay over the side of the roof where I needed. I then got back down off the roof (while safely secured by my harness), disconnected and walked to where my other rope was hanging. As I climbed the ladder, i clipped into the 2nd rope and felt secure In the event the ladder slipped from underneath me.Best investment by far as I can’t afford to die ;). Also saving 500 bucks every year is a bonus.

Bought this and it came USED and DIRTY!!! Both the rope bag AND harness bag were OPENED! The rope had dirt on it in multiple places!!! If I wanted a used one I would have marked used! Nowhere on this page did it say used!!!!
