So far I have cooked a steak and salmon - and both turned out “ok”. I can’t blame the Sous Vide yet because I am new to cooking with it, but I didn’t get the “WOW” factor. Hope to change this to a five star the more I cook with it.

Works great. Makes food really tender and flavorful. Also you can't over cook stuff, so set it and forget it.

Very quiet. BUT! The temperature reading is low by 3-4 degrees. I used other kitchen thermometers to test it against. Kind of a critical point I’d say.

Everyone needs a sous vide in their kitchen. It completely changes the game when it comes to cooking meat (especially chicken and steak) perfectly every time. This unit is a great entry into the space, and the value is excellent.

I love to experiment with new cooking techniques, and I am now the happy owner of the WiFi-Enabled Sous Vide Cooker. A Chef friend has been raving about sous vide for years, and now I understand why.While I resisted the idea of sous vide as ‘cheating,’ the precision and convenience of this method have made me a believer. Setting it up was very easy because it has the clear instructions. The WiFi feature allows me to monitor and control the cooking process from anywhere in the house via the app. It heats water quickly and maintains a consistent temperature. The immersion circulator is very quiet.One big plus is cooking to exact temperatures. I like my steak medium-rare, while my husband prefers his medium. With this sous vide cooker, we get both just right without guessing. The digital temperature and time display is easy to use and reliable. The app's recipe library is also handy for exploring different sous vide dishes.

So far this Sous Vide unit is really cool!It came packaged very well. The package contains the Sous Vide unit itself, the clamp to hold it to the water vessel, an instruction book, and a recipe book.Setup is pretty easy. You just hook the clamp to the pot/bowl/whatever, slide the Sous Vide unit into the cradle, plug it in. You can use onboard controls to set the temperature and time, but this thing has an app which is extremely handy.There's a QR code link to the app, but it took me to a website instead of the Play store, so I searched for it on the Play store instead. It's a normal smart-device app and the instruction booklet walks you through setup. Once it's connected to your wifi you can start controlling through the app.The app not only lets you set the temperature and cooking duration, but also shows you the current temperature and timer. There's another section that lets you store recipe programs that have preset time/temperature settings and it seems like they correspond to the recipes in the booklet. There's a section to add your own as well and I can see that being really handy.We cooked our first meal, three steaks, tonight. We didn't marinate, didn't do much at all, but threw them in some Ziploc bags and put them in the water. Two hours later we had our steaks. They were cooked perfectly medium! We heated up a skillet on high, seared them for about a minute on each side, and threw them on the plate. Not the best cut of meat, and without a marinade the flavor wasn't amazing, but that's no fault of the Sous Vide. The meat was cooked just where I wanted it.My only complaint is that the cooking times and temps were a bit confusing. We had to Google that part. But that's a minor issue.Overall my experience with this unit is extremely positive, and for the price I highly recommend it! I'm really not sure what the more expensive units could do better.Update: just made burgers with this and they turned out AWESOME. You can have super thick burgers cooked perfectly through, then toss them on a hot skillet or grill for a sear. We used our cast iron and, oh, so so good. I love this thing.

I know that poaching is the new way to cook because you maintain the same temperature all around, and with this Sous Vide you can do that and more.The app that you can download will help you find the perfect settings to cook your meal, monitor, program, and even find new recipes. It is super easy to use and set up. The only thing that is going to hold you back is what you want to cook tonight.
