I have many articles of clothing that have drawstrings for closure. I don’t always remember to tie them together before washing so that they don’t come out, and some are more likely to come out than others, like this pair of shorts. Since they are a slick polyester material it is difficult to even keep knots in the end of the strings to keep them on the shorts. It is so bad that I keep a safety pin permanently pinned to the leg cuff, you can see it on the left of the second picture. With this tool a task that used to take 10-15 minutes, I completed in less than 5. It’s so easy and fast to use and so flexible, it glided right through the channel where the drawstring goes instead of getting hung up all the time like the safety pin did. As long as this tool is not treated roughly or used for something other than intended it should last a lifetime and there are two of then! It’s a nice, tight quality spring that works so well I would order again in a flash if these disappeared. What a great idea!
